Composition: HLK-B paraffin wax emulsifier is a kind of non-ionic surfactant which is composed of a variety of surfactants and co-emulsifiers through a specific production process. Properties and applications: The emulsifier has unique emulsifying properties for fully refining, semi-refining, crude paraffin and liquid paraffin. Using this product to prepare paraffin emulsion has the characteristics of simple equipment, mature technology, simple operation and low cost. The paraffin emulsion made of this product has a solid content of more than 50%, which has the advantages of uniform particle size, fine handle, stable storage, good environmental protection, good lubricity, good acid and alkali resistance, no stratification and no demulsification. It has good water solubility and can be diluted into low solid content products at any proportion. Paraffin emulsions prepared by this emulsifier are widely used in papermaking, textile, foundry, waterborne coatings and other fields. In the wood-based panel industry, paraffin wax can be completely replaced as a waterproof and moisture-proof additive, which has the advantages of lower cost and better effect than paraffin wax. Usage: 1. 100 parts of paraffin, 7-8 parts of emulsifier, 42 parts of water are put into the container to melt. 2. After the basic material in the container is melted, start the agitator (cat type or frame type) and rotate at about 100 revolutions per minute. 3. When the liquid temperature in the container reaches 95 to 98 degrees, keep stirring for 15 minutes at constant temperature. 4. Then slowly add 40% NaOH solution, about 0.1% - 0.2% of paraffin, so that the liquid in the container becomes viscous. 5. When the liquid in the container becomes thicker, continue stirring for about 20 minutes before adding water to dilute it for the second time according to the actual requirement. 6. After full mixing and dilution, it can be forced to cool down. When cooling, the rotational speed should be controlled within 50 revolutions per minute, so as to avoid the formation of mechanical foam.
