Description

lThe system provides accurate fault location solution for transmission and distribution power lines.

lThe fault distance Measurement error is less than ±150m irrelevant of line length, and free from influences of following factors, which affect fault location accuracy of traditional impedance measurement methods

nInsufficient accuracy of line parameters due to neglecting of line transposing, distributed capacitance, etc.

lThe XC-2100E consists of the traveling wave data acquisition unit XC-100Einstalled at substations, the master station which runs traveling wave analysis software XCF-2100Edeployed in the control center and the communication network.

For accurate timing for the devices involved, the XC-2100E also needs the GPS time synchronization module to provide accurate time reference.
