During the 19th China (Zibo) International Ceramics Expo,The 3rd International Economic and Trade Matchmaking Fair was held.It’s sponsored by Zibo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Zibo Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Zibo Electronic Information and Equipment Manufacturing Industry Development Center, and Shandong Qi Mao Tong Network Technology Co., Ltd. 21 businessmen from 9 countries around the world gathered in Zibo for a matchmaking communication and look for cooperation.

Zibo is a near-modern industrial city. Zibo's complete and strong industrial system supports a good foundation for foreign trade. Last year, the city's total import and export volume of goods trade reached 95.24 billion yuan, a high record. From the perspective of industry exports, it involves many aspects such as building materials, medicine, metallurgy, and textiles. However, according to statistics, the proportion of Zibo building ceramics and daily ceramics exports is not high.

At the meeting, Mao Zhongqiang, chairman of the Zibo Municipal Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said that the reason why the present meeting is held is wishing guests from nine countries to visit more  manufacturing enterprise and exhibition site during their visits in Zibo. Do more communication with the sales staff who come to the conference, try to have a deep understanding of Zibo ceramics industry and meet strong and reputable production enterprises and trading companies in Zibo, and sign a number of intent agreements. Subsequently, Dong Cunliang, the director of the Zibo City Electronic Information and Equipment Manufacturing Industry Development Center, introduced the industry situation. He said that the current Zibo building materials industry ranks first in the country, forming a complete supporting industry system such as cement, glass, building ceramics, scientific research, logistics, and exhibition etc.Zibo city has the characteristics of strong industrial foundation, inter-firm cooperation and complete industrial chain. It is hoped that through the platform of the fair, local enterprises will learn more about the purchase requirements of customers and realize substantial cooperation at an early date.
