• Introduction

　　Zibo Torch Energy Co., Ltd. (formerly Zibo Storage Battery Factory), founded in January 1944, is one of the earliest manufacturers developing and producing lead-acid batteries, the leading enterprise in domestic traction lead-acid battery industry, and a member unit of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. It consists of five specialized companies, three holding subsidiaries and one storage battery product performance detection center. The company is mainly engaged in development, design and production of lead-acid batteries for traction, fixation and starting,. Meanwhile, it also deals with development, design and production of storage battery equipment, frock dies, storage battery chargers, baffle plates, plastic troughs, parts, etc.

　　Zibo Torch Energy Co., Ltd. has a provincial enterprise technology center, over 50 years of experience in R&D, design and trial-production of lead-acid batteries and relevant products, and technical capacity of R&D, design and trial-production of lead-acid batteries and relevant products. Its 13 series and 23 specifications of lead-acid batteries have filled up domestic blank, and obtained National and Ministerial Level Fine Quality Product Award for many times. In particular, the traction series lead-acid battery has been in domestic advanced level, and PzS series meeting DIN standard and DB series battery meeting BS standard are equipped with imported electric forklifts substantially and exported to many countries.

　　“Torch” lead-acid battery has rational design structure, high technical content and stable quality performance. “Torch” was identified as “Shandong Famous Trademark” in 1998, and “Torch” lead-acid battery was rated as “Shandong Brand Product” in 2000. The company passed the certifications of ISO9001 Quality Management System in 1997, OHSMS and Environmental Management System in 2003, and obtained first lead-acid battery production license and passed the certification of TLC in 2005.
