Paraffin emulsifier: HLK-B paraffin emulsifier is a kind of Nonionic surfactant which is composed of a variety of surfactants and co-emulsifiers through a specific production process.

Properties and applications: the emulsifier has unique emulsifying properties for total refining, semi-refining, crude paraffin and liquid paraffin. The paraffin emulsion prepared by this product has the advantages of simple equipment, mature process, simple operation and low cost. The paraffin emulsion with more than 50% solid content prepared by this product has the advantages of uniform particle, fine handle, stable storage, good environmental protection, good lubricity, good acid resistance and alkali resistance, no stratification and no demulsification. And water-soluble, can be any proportion of water diluted to low solid content of the product. The paraffin emulsion prepared with this emulsifier is widely used in paper making, textile, casting, waterborne coatings and so on. In the wood-based panel industry, paraffin can completely replace paraffin as waterproof and moisture-proof assistant, which has the advantages of lower cost and better effect than paraffin.

Use method:

 100 parts of paraffin wax, 7-8 parts of emulsifier, 42 parts of water into the container to melt.

After the basic contents of the container are melted, Start the agitator (cat or frame), rotate around 100 revolutions per minute. When the liquid temperature in the container reaches 95 to 98 degrees, keep stirring at constant temperature for 15 minutes or so, then slowly add 40% sodium hydroxide solution. About 0.1% -0.2% of the amount of paraffin wax, making the liquid in the container become viscous.

After the liquid in the container has thickened, continue to stir for about 20 minutes before diluting .For the second time according to the actual need, and after fully stirring and diluting, the temperature can be forced to drop. When cooling, speed is controlled within 50 revolutions per minute to avoid forming mechanical foam, stop stirring until normal temperature, and can be canned for 20 minutes.
