Hexafluoropropane epoxide (HFPO) is colorless and nonflammable gas, and easy to liquefy after being compressed, commonly used as the intermediate of special fluorinated chemicals.

Application
HFPO is an important intermediate of organic fluorine material and the oxidation product of hexafluoropropene, extensively applicable to intermediate of fluorinated compounds. It is the main component of fluorine-containing vinyl ether products (such as PPVE, PSVE, PEVE and PMVE), and a monomer for producing fluorine-containing surfactant, and perfluoro ether oil. After open cycle, the hexafluoropropane epoxide can be involved in organic reaction through nucleophilic substitution, and generates difluorocarbene after heated to react.
Packaging, Transportation and Storage
1. Hexafluoropropane epoxide (HFPO) is charged in steel cylinders or tanks, attached to tag and Certificate of Quality outside, marking out the mark, label and batch number. The specifications of the steel cylinder include 1000kg/1000L.
2. The steel cylinders for hexafluoropropane epoxide (HFPO) have the filling ratio of 1.06kg/L.
3. Hexafluoropropane epoxide (HFPO) keeps from fire and heat source in storage, avoiding overpressure; should equip with good ventilation device, and take sunscreen and temperature reduction measures for the steel cylinders stored in the open to prevent overpressure.
4. This product is transported as dangerous products, keeping from heat or violent vibration.
