Shandong Refractories Group Co., Ltd (hereinafter shorten as SDR) is the leading refractory manufacturer in China, is wholly-owned subsidiary of Shan Steel. SDR is a trans-regional refractory company reconstructed by the former five provincial refractory factories named Shandong Refractory Plant, Shandong No.2 Refractory Plant, Qingdao Refractory Plant, Shandong Magnesium Mine, Wangcun Alumina Mine and three Company named Shandong Zhongqi, LUNAI and Hengxin Magnesium Company. SDR covers an area of 3,486,000 square meters; its total assets value has reached 1.405 Billion RMB Yuan. SDR currently employs 3390 personnel, thereinto, 471Refractory technical personnel and 2919 skilled workers. SDR has six branches located in Zibo, Qingdao, Laizhou, Heze of Shandong Province. The annual production capacity has exceeded 550 thousands tons with comprehensive seven series refractories as followings: Alumina Silica products, Con-casting refractory products, Super chamotte raw material and Synthesized Mullite material, Magnesite raw material and products, Carbon containing products, Special refractory, Monolithic refractories, etc. Products are applied to worldwide industries of metallurgy, building materials, petrochemical, nonferrous, Electronics and so on, approx 70% products are supplied to metallurgical industry. China leading Steel Group- e.g. Baosteel, Ansteel, WISCO, SHOUGANG，TISCO, PANGANG, HBIS, SHAGANG and JIGANG, LAIGANG which belongs to same parent company are our main customers in domestic market. In overseas Market, SDR is a refractory supplier of Arcelor-Mittal, POSCO, HYUNDAI, Nippon Steel, US Steel. SDR also has a good cooperation with world famous engineering companies -e.g. Paul Wurth, Danieli Corus, SVAI, NSC-ENG, and working together with famous refractory manufacturers -e.g. Chosun Refractories, ANH Refractories and Krosaki Refractories etc.
