A simplified Forehearth design that achieves a high degree of thermal stability and cooling capability.The Sanjin Advanced Gas Fired Forehearth provides glassmakers with the increased flexibility and tonnage pull range necessary to meet rapidly changing market demands.
The Sanjin Advanced Gas Fired Forehearth provides thermal stability and cooling capability with simplified operational ease. This Forehearth has the capability to heat both the side and centre glass (as required), providing better flexibility and control of the glass conditioning process.

Indirect Centerline Cooling
When using colored glasses (such as Amber and Green) where color consistency is important, the Forehearth’s indirect centerline cooling helps maintain constant redox levels. Indirect cooling prevents cooling wind from mixing with combustion products. This provides a high degree of thermal efficiency for both heating and cooling systems. Changes in cooling wind do not affect forehearth internal pressure.
Individual cooling plates placed along the cooling section also allow cooling to be introduced more gradually. This reduces the likelihood of chilling the top glass.
Combustion System
The Forehearth combustion system is designed to work with either LPG or Natural Gas, and is based on, venturi mixers and pressure sensing ratio regulators to provide manifold pressures in the range of 20mm WC to 250mm WC.A combustion system based on flow sensing ratio regulators is available as an option.
Cooling Wind Control
The Forehearth uses individual blowers with variable speed drive controls. The slight increase in capital cost is more than offset by the significant operating energy cost savings.

Shandong Sanjin Glass Machinery Co Ltd holds the chair of Vice-President in the China Glass Association and the China Light Industry Machinery Association.
The company was founded in 1959 as Shandong Light Industry Machinery Factory. In 2004, it was restructured into a private enterprise company. In 2011, Shandong Sanjin was converted into a Joint Venture company with Emhart Glass SA, a division of Bucher Industries AG, Switzerland. Emhart Glass SA is a world leader in Glass bottle making machinery and the Joint Venture brings together a world class leader and Sanjin, a leader in China Glass machinery.
Shandong Sanjin main products are in IS machines, Anneling Lehrs, Feeders，other Glass Machinery equipment and has more than 60% share in China domestic market. It also has a building materials machinery business.
Since the JV, Shandong Sanjin has embarked on upgrade and transformation, with focus on improved technology, equipment investment and quality. It has invested RMB150m in CNC machining centres, Co-ordinate Measuring Machines and other high end production equipment as well as a new painting line. These investments will enable the company to move to a higher level of competitiveness and quality in its manufacturing processes. In addition, the company will also invest in a new ERP system in order to improve its management level.
In the area of R&D, the company worked with Emhart Glass and developed the first CIS machine in China, in order to meet higher domestic customer expectations as well as to penetrate the international market. The response to the new CIS machine has been encouraging.
