Rto (RegenerativeThermalOxidizer) is a kind of incineration technology based on the heat storage and exothermic principle of heat storage material. The heat storage material is ceramic material, which is the representative incineration technology in VOC removal equipment.
The structure of the rotary RTO is shown in the diagram: the inlet chamber through which the gas passes, the distribution chamber that controls the flow of the gas, the regenerative layer formed by preheating and regenerating heat, and the upper combustor with a flame-hole. The rotor, located in the center of the distribution chamber and the inlet chamber, controls the flow of gas and the driving tools for rotating the rotor at a given speed.
Rotary wing installed to prevent leakage piston ring and removal of untreated residual gas purification device.
The regenerative layer and the distribution chamber are divided into several sector-shaped units, and the rotor rotates through the process of half cooling zone (preheating) and the other half of heating area (recovery heat) in succession as the rotor rotates. A static zone is arranged between the cooling zone and the heating zone to prevent the untreated gas from mixing with the clean gas so that the untreated gas is treated by air purification and oxidation before heating.
