外观与性状：属斜方晶系，为四角粒状或菱形晶体，无色、透明，集合体为白色、玫瑰色或绿色玻璃光泽。形状有纤维状、针状、粒状或粉末。无臭、味苦。
Appearance and characters: it is an oblique crystal system, which is tetragonal or rhombic, colorless, transparent, white, rose-colored or green glass luster. The shape is fibrous, needle-shaped, granular or powdered. No smell, bitter taste.
溶解性：易溶于水，微溶于乙醇和甘油。

七水硫酸镁主要用途
Main uses of magnesium sulfate heptahydrate
食品：作食品强化剂。我国规定可用于乳制品，使用量为3～7g；在饮液及乳饮料中使用量为1.4～2.8g；在矿物质饮料中最大使用量为0.05g。
Food: used as a food fortifier. In our country, it can be used in dairy products with a dosage of 3 ~ 7 g, a dosage of 1.4 ~ 2.8g in drinks and milk drinks, and a maximum amount of 0.05g in mineral drinks.
工业industry
多与钙盐合用于酒母用水，按4.4g/100 1水添加可提高硬度1度，多用则产生苦味，并产生硫化氢臭味。
Most of them were used in drinking water with calcium salt. Adding 4.4g/100 1 water could increase hardness by 1 degree and produce bitter taste and hydrogen sulphide odor.
用作制革、炸药、造纸、瓷器、肥料，以及医疗上口服泻药等，矿物质水添加剂。

农业agriculture
硫酸镁在农业中被用于一种肥料，因为镁是叶绿素的主要成分之一。通常被用于盆栽植物或缺镁的农作物，例如西红柿，马铃薯，玫瑰等。硫酸镁比起其他肥料的优点是溶解度较高。硫酸镁也被用作浴盐。
Magnesium sulfate is used as a fertilizer in agriculture because magnesium is one of the main components of chlorophyll.
