Product Introduction
There are column and rod suspension composite insulators. The column composite insulators can be used on the 10kV overhead lines while the rod suspension composite insulators can be used on the 10-220kV overhead lines for the purpose of supporting/hanging/connecting wires. The composite insulators couldprovide excellent electrical insulation between wires and towers thanks to their excellent electrical insulation performance. Therefore, the composite insulators could be used in dirty areas to effectively prevent pollution flashover incidents and reduce the maintenance workload during the operation of power lines. The composite insulators are new products with excellent performances.
The
advantages of composite insulators are as follows:
(1)
The sheds of the insulators have good resistances to water, corrosion and
aging, ensuring their long service lives;
(2)
The core rods are made of glass-fiber reinforced resin with high tensile
strength, good electrical performance and excellent acid resistance;
(3)
The rated mechanical loads of composite insulators are 5kN and 70kN-160kN,
providing high capacity of resisting tensile loads;
(4)
The composite outer sleeves are made through integrated injection molding
technology, ensuring nice appearances, seamless adhesion between core rods and
sleeves and excellent internal insulation performance; and
(5)
The composite insulators feature small volumes, low weights, good durability,
high reliability and good shock resistance.
