Such bearings are capable of meeting certain often contradictory requirements: they must have sufficient strength to withstand the highest oil film pressure and be soft enough to slow metal-to-metal contact during overheating. The grooved tile is partially relieved due to the absence of abrasion and the groove, and the wear is intensified later, only one third of the ordinary bearing bush. In addition, the grooves prevent the propagation of cracks in the coating. When the coating partially disappears from the groove, the shape of the lubricating oil film gap changes, and the bearing bush can continue to operate safely without occlusion, and the wear of the bearing pad is stabilized at a lower rate. These have a great impact on reducing the risk of fatigue, extending the useful life or increasing the load capacity per unit load.
