Product Details

Lower quality of crude oils will reduce the efficiency of oil refining. As a result, many oil refineries have to take measures to promote heavy oil conversion and increase the yield rate of light oils. Meanwhile, oil refineries specializing in both oil refining and chemical production may also need to manufacture light olefin and other chemical raw materials.
The problem of applying low quality heavy feedstock is much more serious for local refiners which widely adopt M100, M180, even mixed coking gas oil as FCC feed. The defects of M100 include low hydrogen, low saturated hydrocarbon, high carbon residue and heavy metals (exceed 60 ppm), high nonmetallic components such as sulfur and nitrogen. Moreover, mixed coking gas oil contains high levels of basic nitrogen, which can neutralize acid sites of catalyst to lead to catalyst poisoning and deactivation. These negative factors will result in not only catalyst poisoning, activity reduction, high catalyst consumption but also high yield of dray gas, coke and slurry oil, and low yield of high-valued gasoline, LCO and LPG in FCCU.
Xunda XDC-01 residual oil conversion catalyst developed for the processing of poor-quality catalytic feeds and increase of liquid outputs and yield rate of light oils. XD-01 catalysts have significant advantages in heavy oil cracking and resistance to heavy metal pollutions and alkaline nitrogen.
